Choosing Your Realtor

Buying or selling a home is often more than just a transaction, it can be a life-changing experience and often the largest financial transaction(s) of a person’s life.  Factor in that it can also include where a person, couple or family live, and it becomes very personal.  For investment properties, it may well determine the level of security, time table for reaching financial goals and often the quality of life in retirement, so that’s also highly important!  Whatever the reason or level of complexity of a real estate transaction, it’s our belief that having a highly-seasoned real estate professional, a Realtor, Broker Associate, who is dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized, knowledgeable service for her clients is so very important. Most people take great care in interviewing an agent prior to listing their home or property for sale.  We would challenge and recommend that the same care be given in choosing the Realtor to represent you anytime you’re investing in real estate! Lori takes great pride in the representation she provides, the relationships she builds, and works relentlessly on her client’s behalf to help them achieve their real estate goals and dreams!

Lori’s experience includes representing many, many clients and also teaching large numbers of agents to do that successfully!  She has managed large real estate offices for Coldwell Banker and Prudential California Realty, and Brokered offices for Keller Williams and Windermere.  First licensed in 1978, she is 100% dedicated to representing her clients and giving them the best of her advise, educating them along the way, and negotiating to their best advantage.

There’s a point in life when we’re at the top of our game!  Life is good, choices are ours, and our focus is on the real priorities.  After decades of giving to Realtor Organizations, culminating in serving as President of the 12,000+ member, San Diego Association of Realtors, managing and brokering offices, and raising 2 beautiful daughters … This gal is focusing her time on working one on one with Clients, quality time with Family and Friends, a few hours every week on Fitness doing Pilates, TRX, and Stairs, and a bit of scheduled time for self-improvement and spirituality.  It’s a really good life!

A few of Lori’s Past Client References & Referrals:

“We were initially concerned about potentially harming our friendship with Lori by listing our home with her… we’d had a bad experience working with a friend / Realtor in the past and didn’t want to take a chance on that again. Making the decision to list with Lori ended up being one of the best decisions we could have possibly made! She is the consummate Real Estate Professional. She shined and excelled with her strategies for marketing, negotiating, understanding and use of the contracts, communication and coordination of the sale, escrow and closing. She is highly ethical, very proactive and pays excellent attention to detail (who knew there were so many loose ends in closing a house sale?). We have come to learn that she is the person in her office who supervises all the difficult/legally challenging transactions because her knowledge and expertise are so extensive. We’re both professionals, my husband is a business owner and entrepreneur and I am an attorney, and have had many experiences with Realtors. Lori is by far the best! We’ve recommended Lori to friends already and will every opportunity we get!”  Dan & Lisa E., Lake Helix Terrace

“I just recently sold my home that I had lived in for a very long time. I was very attached to my home, so it was a pretty emotional situation for me. It was also the very first time that I have been through the selling process. Because we purchased our home from a relative, there was a lot of the buying AND selling process that was foreign to me. Living in San Diego I happen to know several real estate agents, so trying to figure out whom to help me through this process was kind of a difficult choice. I decided to go with Lori because she has a long and successful career in real estate and I knew that she was EXPERIENCED!
Lori was patient and caring with me, and answered all of the questions that I had and more about the process! She went above and beyond with everything from pictures of the home, to bringing flowers, to doing walk throughs with potential buyers as well as open houses! My home sold QUICKLY which saved us a lot of money, because we didn’t have to float two mortgages for too long.
If you are looking to sell your home, I would recommend Lori Staehling EVERY time! I will be using her services to purchase a home soon!”  Jessica Wagner, Owner of Janae Luxe Pilates Studio
